🔥 Townhouse Fire Displaces Multiple Families on Timsberry Circle

Several families are dealing with a difficult situation after a townhouse fire broke out on Timsberry Circle last week. Fortunately, firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control quickly, and no injuries were reported.
However, the fire left two adults and five children displaced due to smoke and water damage. Four residents from a neighboring townhouse were also forced from their home because of the impact of the fire.
The cause remains under investigation. Our thoughts are with the families affected, and a big thank-you goes out to Chesterfield Fire and EMS for their fast response and dedication to keeping our community safe. 🙏
🚒 Kitchen Fire Serves as Important Safety Reminder

Chesterfield Fire and EMS responded to a house fire on Cordova Lane Thursday evening after flames broke out in a home's kitchen.
Crews arrived to find smoke showing from the house and quickly brought the fire under control in less than 30 minutes. One person inside suffered minor burns but declined transportation to the hospital.
Investigators determined the fire was caused by unattended cooking, a reminder that even stepping away for a few moments can lead to dangerous situations. Thankfully, this incident did not result in more serious injuries.

👮 Regional Police Operation Results in 73 Arrests

Police departments from Richmond and Henrico recently joined forces for a three-day enforcement operation targeting the Rocketts Landing and Jefferson Park areas.
Officials say the effort was launched in response to concerns about trespassing, reckless driving, excessive noise, and other quality-of-life issues affecting residents. The operation resulted in 73 misdemeanor arrests and the service of two felony warrants.
While the operation took place outside Chesterfield County, many local residents travel through or visit these areas regularly, making the results noteworthy for the broader Richmond region.
